Several car makers have issued various recalls, and some of them are for some dangerous concerns.
Ford
The American car maker is recalling its Fusion & Lincoln-MKZ models from 2013-2018 for possible front brake hose problems. In the recall, it states that the front brake hoses could fail and cause a progressive brake fluid leak. If this happens, the driver may experience a change in brake pedal feel and travel. This can cause reduced braking and could lead to a higher risk of crashing.
This is not applicable to Hybrid engine models.
Hyundai
Hyundai is providing an anti-corrosion treatment for certain underbody components of specified vehicles. Over time, certain components under the car, including brake lines could corrode. If this happens, a brake line could fail and leak. A brake fluid leak can result in reduced braking, and that significantly increases the risk of a crash. The recall affects Genesis (incl. coupe model), Tuscon, Equus, Elantra, Santa Fe and Veloster with model years ranging from 2009 to 2018.
KIA
KIA’s accessory trailer wiring harness on certain vehicles could allow water to leak into the control module. If this happens it could end up shorting the lights on the trailer causing it to not be as visible on the road, especially in poor road conditions. Recalled models included in the recall: Sedona, Sorento & Sportage ranging from 2015-2019.
Mercedes-Benz
The high-end car maker is recalling its GLE/S class models from 2022 and 2023 for an issue of window trim not being properly attached.
