Indigo’s website is still not accessible one week after announcing its physical stores weren’t able to process debit, credit or gift card transactions.
Only cash transactions were able to be processed. Within a few hours, their website showed a message indicating they were experiencing a cybersecurity incident, that has stretched into this week.
While most stores across the country were able to process machine transactions again, the website still remains inaccessible.
It is noted in their message that “customer credit and debit card information was not compromised… (Indigo) does not store full credit or debit card numbers in their systems.” As well as customers who participate in the chain’s Plum Points rewards program have also remained intact and unaffected by the cybersecurity incident.
