A Dryden woman and a Thunder Bay man will need to face the court in a recent drug bust.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Dryden Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) brought a search warrant to a home in the City of Dryden. Police collected suspected cocaine, meth and psilocybin along with cash and a taser.
The 40 year old Thunder Bay man is facing 14 various drug and weapons charges and a 30 year old Dryden woman is charged with eight drug and weapons charges.
Assisting in this investigation were members of the Dryden OPP Detachment, CSCU Sioux Lookout, CSCU Red Lake, the OPP Emergency Response Team, the OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit and Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service. Both accused were remanded into custody and appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice Regional Bail Court on February 6, 2023.
The male has been remanded into custody and the female was released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Dryden on March 13, 2023.
