Winter FunDay’s in Thunder Bay continue this weekend.
From 12pm – 4pm at Dick Waddington Park, there will be the chance to try out dog sledding rides for kids (ages 4-14yrs).
This extended activity will allow everyone to learn about the history of dogsledding, try out the kick sleds and even meet some of the dogs.
The Community Arts & Heritage Education Project (CAHEP) will also be on-site offering outdoor art programming.
The city notes that (non-sled) dogs are not permitted at this event.
Winter FunDays run every Sunday until March 19, with a different free winter activity every week.
