Thunder Bay Police say four men, all from southern Ontario, arrested Tuesday at a north-side motel were in the city for the sole purpose of carrying out drug trafficking.
Officers with both the Emergency Task and Intelligence Units obtained and executed a search warrant at 11:30 a.m. at the motel as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking from the Powley Street address.
Officers also located and seized a significant quantity of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $280,000.
Cash, drug trafficking equipment and a fake drivers licence was also seized.
