Thunder Bay City Council will be meeting Monday night for Committee of the Whole
There council will hear a deputation regarding the Waverly Park Fountain.
As well council will receive reports from city staff including:
A recommendation that will see the School Bus Stop Arm Camera be removed from the outstanding list for Operations. That report citing:
“At this time, it is not feasible for the City of Thunder Bay to enter the program due to the
lack of a provincial evidence processing centre, and significant resources needed,
including Police resources, to set up a processing centre in Thunder Bay.”
However it does make note of Administration’s recommendation that a report back be provided once required identified resources in the report are in place.
An update on the Financial Assistance Program for Private Lead Water Service Replacement.
The awarding of a tender valued at $655,723.01 for Street Lighting Grounding and Other Street Light Work.
As well as a program update to the Outdoor Rinks program, that would see the discontinuation of the Vale Community Centre and Centennial Village unsupervised unboarded skating ponds effective this season and that the Vickers Park skating path be added to the program effective this season.
