Today’s the day that parents and caregivers can apply for the Canada Child Dental Benefit.
Applications go through the Canada Revenue Agency and allow those without access to dental benefits up to $650/year per child for up to two years.
Canada Child Dental benefit is intended for families who make less than $90,000 a year
The federal website states “depending on your adjusted family net income, a tax-free payment of $260, $390, or $650 is available for each eligible child. This interim dental benefit is only available for 2 periods. You can get a maximum of 2 payments for each eligible child.”
Details of the benefit are here, and the checklist for the benefit is here.
