Statistics Canada shows that Canadians are the most educated in the workforce.
More than 50 per cent of workers between 25 and 64 have college and university credentials.
At least one-in-four people have a college diploma or certificate, more than any of the other G7 countries.
Between the seven countries in the G7, Statistics Canada notes that 57 per cent of the workforce have a college certificate, diploma or higher who are between 25 and 64.
6.4 million people in Canada have a bachelor’s degree or higher as of 2021.
The data also shows that highly educated workers with a bachelor’s degree or higher are more experienced in labour market disruptions.
