A 29-year-old city man has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection to a homicide investigation which began last Thursday.
Police were initially called to a home on Pearl Street at 11:30 p.m. on November 17th and located a body. Following a post-mortem examination in Toronto, the deceased has since been identified as 37-year-old Rusty Russow of Thunder Bay.
Investigators were able to identify the suspect and officers took them into custody yesterday afternoon.
The accused appeared in court yesterday and was remanded into custody.
