The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and St. Joseph’s Care Group have confirmed an outbreak of Covid-19 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at 2 North and South, Medically Complex Services.
The health unit is assessing the situation and states further measures will be taken as needed to manage the outbreak.
Previously both the health unit and St. Joseph’s Care Group announced on September 26th of an expansion to another outbreak already underway on the hospital’s 5 North and South units, Geriatric Assessment and Rehabilitative Care.
