Starting today, bookings can be made through the provinces booking website for the latest vaccine that targets the original strain of Covid-19 and the latest variants of Omicron.
The bivalent vaccine is also available to those that are immunocompromised and who are 12-17 years old or are at higher risk of severe infection.
For children under 5 years old, the latest Pfizer vaccine has been made available starting today. Kids between 6 months and 5 years old will be allowed to receive an alternate version of the vaccine, however, Health Canada recommends that kids receive the same brand of vaccine for their second round as they did on their first shot.
