Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, invested in the Order of Canada.
Being honoured with the Companion of the Order of Canada, former PM Stephen Harper received the official medal.
While in the UK for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, a private ceremony was held for Harper as Governor General Mary Simon completed the task.
Fellow former PM’s looked on, including Paul Martin, Kim Campbell, Jean Chretien and current PM Justin Trudeau.
The ceremony didn’t happen previously because of Covid-19 restrictions.
