Threatened, attacked and bitten.
Thunder Bay Police were dispatched to an area around the regional hospital after getting reports of a man threatening staff.
When officers arrived on Wednesday afternoon, they saw security escorting him off the property. The man pushed the officers away and said he had a gun.
The suspect reached into his bag and brandished a weapon at officers.
While getting the arrested suspect in the police car, he attacked an officer again and bit him.
Officers were finally able to contain the 27 year old man from Cat Lake.
He’s facing eight various charges including assault and mischief.
