Two types of baby products are being recalled because they have strangulation risks.
The 4moms MamaRoo baby swings and RackaRoo baby rockers are being recalled by Health Canada, specifically ones with a three-point harness.
The risk is when the baby isn’t in the chairs that the straps hang below, posing a hazard to a babies who are crawling.
Items recalled:
4moms MamaRoo Baby Swing (models 4M-005, 1026, and 1037)
RockaRoo Baby Rocker (model 4M-012)
Health Canada says that parents should contact 4moms to have a free strap fastener sent to them. Additionally, families with crawling infants should place the products where children cannot access them when not in use.
No injuries or deaths have been reported to date. There is no risk to infants when strapped into the seats.
