The second last councillor to make their intentions known about the upcoming municipal election has filed paperwork.
The two-term Northwood councillor filed her paperwork and will be running for a spot as an At-Large representative.
Currently there are a total of 13 candidates in that category with five spots available.
She was almost the last councillor to make her intentions known around running again or not.
Out of 13 spots on City Council, there are five individuals who will not be running in the fall campaign. Only one At-Large councillor hasn’t officially filed with the City Clerk’s Office, but has said publicly they would be running again.
The deadline to file nomination papers is this Friday Aug. 19 at 2pm.
Details on how to file can be found here.
