A traffic stop for Thunder Bay Police lead officers to finding more illegal items.
Thunder Bay Police stopped a vehicle going the wrong way on a one-way street in the north core.
Pulling the vehicle over at the corner of Red River Road and Court Street, police were checking on the insurance of the vehicle and came to learn that the occupants had drugs on their person; including suspected fentanyl, cocaine and a load of cash.
All of the above equal to more than $110,000 worth of fentanyl and cocaine after conducting a traffic stop of a vehicle that travelled the wrong way on a one-way street Wednesday morning.
Two suspects, a female driver from Orangeville area and male passenger with no fixed address, were taken into custody and transported to the TBPS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street.
