Trace Adkins‘ new country music drama will finally make its debut this fall. Monarch was supposed to launch earlier this year in January, but was pushed ahead for the fall. The show focuses on the fictional “First Family of Country Music” and stars Susan Sarandon as matriarch Dottie Roman, Anna Friel as daughter Nicky and Adkins as Dottie’s husband Albie in his first starring role in a TV drama. Singer-songwriter Beth Ditto also stars as Gigi. Looking forward to seeing how it will all unfold. Monarch debuts on Fox Sunday, September 11.
