Vickers Park is just one step away from being a designated Heritage Site in Thunder Bay.
The City Manager’s Office made a recommendation on January 4th, based on its cultural heritage value as defined by Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
Council is scheduled to make it official on Monday.
Thunder Bay has 25 formally designated municipal heritage properties, 49 listed heritage properties (not formally designated) and one Heritage Conservation District.
