Stepan the cat is a very famous feline. He has an Instagram account with over a million followers, often photographed with a drink. He lives in Ukraine, but he and his handlers had to leave when the current conflict with Russia came to their front door. He is now safe in France, and along the way he was able to collect donations to help out 5 animal charities like Happy Paw and UAnimals that will provide aid to his fellow furry friends in Ukraine affected by the war. As of Monday, they raised over $10,000, with more coming in.
Stepan was rescued when he was 1 month old and lived only in Ukraine. He hit the big time and went viral on TikTok in 2019 with that now famous glass of wine and Stevie Wonder. You are the cat’s meow Stepan!
