A note to parents that kids will be out early.
The weather is the driving factor behind the decision to let students out early today.
Lakehead District School Board included this in their note to parents;
Parents and guardians of elementary students are asked to arrange for the pick-up of their child(ren) by 1:00 p.m. today.
Secondary students will be dismissed at lunch. Schools will be contacting parents and guardians to arrange for the safe transportation of students home.
The Catholic School Board is also letting kids out early today too.
Students can be picked up anytime between now and 1:00 p.m.
Lakehead University also closing it’s doors today at 1pm.
