On this day back in 1969 the greatest educational children’s show debuted on PBS. Sesame Street was the first major, mainstream kids show that focused on teaching and having fun. I loved as a kid and would watch well into my teens and adulthood. I watch the show with my boys and still think it’s great. There has so many amazing guests over the years and lots of Country Music stars have made appearances… these are some of my favourites.
