Ontarians between the ages of 12 and 17 will be able to get their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The province reports as of Monday, July 5 at 8:00 a.m. teenagers will be able to secure their appointment for the Pfizer shot through the provincial booking system, directly through the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and through participating pharmacies.
During the week of June 21, Ontario administered more than one million doses in four days which included 26,771 doses in a single day at the Scotiabank Arena, setting a North American record.
77 per cent of adults in the province have received their first dose and more than 42 per cent are fully immunized against COVID-19.
