There have been a rash of sightings from stargazers about a string of lights in the night sky, moving in a straight line. Many were wondering if it was a fleet of UFOs, but the explanation was simple. They were a series of satellites from Starlink, part of the company SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, who was on Saturday Night Live this past weekend.
The Starlink satellites were launched to bring internet service to rural areas around the world and are sometimes visible a few minutes after sundown and before sunrise, when they are high enough to reflect direct sunlight.
