Update 11am, Monday:
Hydro is expected to be back on anytime for customers in the north end.
Many people told our newsroom this morning it was knocked out, and Synergy North says it was due to a broken pole.
The outage map for Synergy North showed it was from the Lakehead University area all the way to Tupper near River Road.
It extended from Algonquin to Rockwood Avenue in an east/west direction.
