Kane Brown appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert a couple of nights ago to perform his latest single Be Like That. Brown was joined by rapper Swae Lee and R&B singer Khalid. The song is Brown’s latest hit from his third extended play Mixtape Vol. 1. Brown said the song is about the ups and downs of a relationship. It ends up sounding like a hybrid of country and hip-hop with each artist singing a verse. All three artists had a hand in writing the song, sharing their own experiences about how love isn’t always easy. Pretty cool.
Brown said the song looks at the different feelings you can have in a relationship and trying not to overthink it.
