A roundabout could be included in the city budget for 2021.
City staff are recommending going ahead with a traffic circle and pedestrian crossovers at the intersection of Edward Street and Redwood Avenue.
City Council will vote Monday night whether to debate it in the budget process.
It would cost about $1,000,000 to build, and the total cost for its whole life cycle would be $25,000 more than traffic signals.
