Thunder Bay’s Moose Hall is in dire need of your help to keep them afloat after losing revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Administrator Patrick Cross says they’ve looked into federal relief programs but they aren’t eligible.
“The fact that we don’t have a payroll. Everything the government is putting out is based on a payroll, and obviously they are promoting employment for everyone, but we don’t fit in to that category,” Cross said.
The Moose Hall is run by volunteers.
Cross says their monthly bills are adding up, and with no revenue coming in and resources being used up, they are looking for some help to save the over 70-year-old institution.
