Kia Ora is looking to open a second cannabis store location on the city’s north side.
D.J. Connor from Kia Ora Kannabis tells us they are renovating a space on Red River Road for their second location.
“We’re excited to do the same thing all over again in the north. This one, we’re going to try and push for a July opening, so crossing our fingers we can get it done by July 1st, but everything is up to the government right now,” Connor notes.
“We noticed that all of the shops that are wanting to open up are on the south end of the city, and nothing in the north. There is a need in the north, so we did our due diligence and we have pushed to open up in the north end of the city,” he explains.
Kia Ora’s Victoria Avenue location is currently under provincial review and is expected to start selling cannabis sometime in April.
