Nashville is welcoming another country music giant to the city with the Glen Campbell Museum and Rhinestone Stage.
It’s great to see this addition to focus on another one of country’s biggest artists, along with museums that focus on Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Glen’s widow Kim says it’s a great way to celebrate Campbell’s musical legacy with many possessions from his past on display, like a poster of his co-starring role in the movie True Grit with John Wayne.
Also a look at his very popular TV variety show The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.
What’s really cool about this is the building will operate as a museum by day and a music venue by night with performances on the Rhinestone Stage.
The Glen Campbell Museum and Rhinestone Stage will open tomorrow with a performance by Campbell’s daughter Ashley.
