Thunder Bay’s Labour Council and other unions gathered at City Hall today to protest Premier Doug Ford.
President Carlos Santander-Maturana tells us they rallied to send a strong message to Queen’s Park.
“People are unhappy with how the government is doing business and we are going to keep the pressure on them in order to ensure the cuts are going to be minimal. The government knows these cuts are going to impact people and they are unhappy.”
The local rally was held in conjunction with a larger event at Queen’s Park in Toronto today.
