Today is the day to say thank you to a crossing guard for all they do to make sure your kids get to school safely.
It’s Crossing Guard Appreciation Day, the 14th annual event in Thunder Bay.
The crossing guard program has been in place since 1947, with 65 guards working for the city.

They are out throughout the year , rain or shine to get students across city streets safely. Thank you for your dedication.
