A birthday to celebrate Barbara Mandrell, born on Christmas in 1948.
She was the biggest female country artist of the late 70s to the early 80s.
With a flair for showmanship, she was into music in the family band and was so good on steel guitar that she played with Patsy Cline at the age of 13.
She also had a very successful TV show with her sisters Louise and Irlene.
Here is what has become her signature tune, coming up on UNCLE ED’S COUNTRY DEN.
