Highways Are Slick; Some Remain Closed

Snow has made area highways slick and blowing snow has made it very hard to see.

OPP are reporting that Highway 71 between Kenora and Fort Frances is now open.  It was closed overnight due to poor weather conditions.

Meanwhile, Highway 17 between Dryden and the Manitoba Border remains closed due to poor weather conditions.

They say the reopening time is unknown.

Finally, Highway 622 between Atikokan and Dryden also is closed, as is Highway 105 between Vermillion Bay and Ear Fall. It remains closed in both lanes because of poor weather conditions.
