A not-for-profit organization in Northern Ontario that connects investors with new, rising entreprenuers is ranked #1 across the country for the fourth year in a row.
Northern Ontario Angels has been able to help in the flow of 50-million dollars in investment capital during 2015.
Executive Director Mary Long-Irwin says the success comes from investors not only supplying an average of 350,000 dollars to a new business, but also taking time to mentor.
Long-Irwin says investors working through the Angels don’t just look for the “big, easy win”, but take the time with a new business if they see potential.
