The reverberations continue from the city inquest into the deaths of seven First Nation youth.
Julian Falconer, the lawyer who represented the Nishnawbe Aski Nation, said he was glad the jury felt at least three of the deaths were undetermined which he feels keeps the spotlight on city police. He also believes all the 145 recommendations are doable with the political will.
Meantime Chantelle Bryson, who represented the Provincial Advocate for Children and Youth, is happy the jury applied its wisdom in accepting the joint recommendations of the inquest lawyers, but is disappointed there was nothing about racism or hate.
