The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce is throwing its support behind an effort to have city tax rates lowered for multi-unit apartment buildings making them equal to residential taxes.
Chamber President Charla Robinson thinks the Coalition Against Property Tax Discrimination certainly has a credible case and is right in its thinking.
Robinson tells us the Chamber has been trying have the tax ratios equalized for some time.
She believes however, the city is moving in that direction, but it will take some time to equalize the rates. (File photo)
