Two people are dead and five are injured, following a tragic three vehicle collision.
Police say it happened last night at around 9 o’clock on Highway 102 at the Kam River Bridge.
They say that a west bound pickup truck and an SUV collided in the initial crash, and then an east bound car also became involved.
They say the man who was driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene while the man driving the SUV died at the Regional Health Sciences Centre.
The victims have been identified as 35 year old Jonathon Whitehead of Summer Beaver, and 44 year old Bidzina Berdzenishvili of Prince Albert Saskatchewan.

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On Monday, October 30, 2017 at approximately 9:00pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) as well as Kaministiquia Fire Department, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and Superior North Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a three vehicle collision on Highway 102 at the Kaministiquia Bridge.
A west bound pickup truck and a west bound Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) collided and subsequently a secondary collision occurred between the SUV and an east bound mid- size car.
The male driver of the car, Bidzina BERDZENISHVILI, 44 years of age, from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver of the SUV, Jonathon WHITEHEAD, 35 years of age, from Nibinamik First Nation (Summer Beaver) was transported to hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Five passengers in the SUV were transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
