It was a rough night for two city police officers who were injured while trying to make an arrest.
Constable Julie Tilbury says a male suspect wasn’t cooperating with them when they tried to subdue him in the parking lot of a Memorial Avenue restaurant late last night.
The person was eventually taken into custody with the help of other officers who restrained the suspect and handcuffed him.
Tilbury tells us that while the two officers were hurt, they didn’t need any medical help.
The male is now charged with assaulting two police officers and with breaching probation. (File photo)
