A Regina Street apartment complex has been approved despite some neighbours’ objections.
City council gave the go ahead to the four-unit project between Sydney Street and Brittany Drive.
Speaking to City Council, Geoff Ritchie argues the neighbourhood is already facing traffic issues, and fears adding more apartments could make matters worse.
“I’m concerned about a saturation of multiple-unit housing in the area,” Ritchie explains, adding that a condo building is already sitting empty across from the project.
Other Regina Street residents also voiced concerns that the development could make water drainage worse for the neighbourhood. (File Photo)
