Thunder Bay is getting socked with winter weather, with Environment Canada calling for about 5-10 cms of snow this morning.
Meteorologist Rob Kuhn says it'll last through the morning, tapering off this afternoon.
The system is centred over Thunder Bay, with pockets of heavy snow throughout northwestern Ontario.

Rain has changed over to snow as expected last night. Snow will continue for much of today, with 5 to 10 cm likely by this evening.
The snow may briefly be heavy this morning, with poor visibility at times.
Gusty westerly winds may result in blowing and drifting snow today and tonight as well.
Motorists should allow for extra time to reach their destination. Untreated roads will be snow covered and slippery, with poor winter driving conditions expected.
