Border agents who work at the Pigeon River crossing are accusing the federal government of dragging out contract talks.
Union spokesperson Andrew Wiersma lead an information picket in front of the May Street government building and hinted a strike is possible if no deal is reached.
Wiersma says outstanding issues include, wages, pensions and benefits.
He indicates negotiations are expected to continue within the next couple of months and he hopes a deal can be cemented at that time.
