A video shot by a Dryden area couple has gone viral with over 11 million views….and counting.
Ed Trist and Nicole Lewis were heading into Avery Lake, about 30 minutes east of Dryden, to pick up some minnows for the Long Weekend when they came across a pair of Lynx engaged in a loud, vocal stand-off.
Both captured video footage of the big cats, who were so intent on each other that they ignored the human intrusion into their spat.
Trist says he’s heard Lynx wailing and seen Lynx in the bush, but nothing like this.

With video going viral over the holiday weekend, Trist has heard from literally thousand of people via Social Media – with some questioning whether the strange noises coming from the animals was real or dubbed in.

The two videos have racked up over 11 million views in just three days and Trist has been astonished by media interest from around the world.

After over ten minutes, Trist and Lewis drove around the Lynx, who completely ignored their presence. Trist believes a third Lynx – probably a female – was nearby and likely the cause of the loud fight.
