The Social Services Board wants credit where credit is due.

Last week, organizers rolled out word that 13 former St. Joseph's Care Group residents were moving into supported living units at McKellar Place.

DSSAB Chair Bill Bradica says they too are a partner in this important initiative.

He adds they're providing the rent supplement that's needed to bridge the gap between the geared-to-income amount that tenants will pay, and the market rent for their units.

The total amount from the Social Services Board for a year is $150,000.
