Hockey's holy grail was back in Thunder Bay where it was on display for fans at the Fort William Gardens.
Hundreds of people lined up early to get a picture of themselves with local hockey hero Matt Murray of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the cup.
It's the second year in a row the goalie sensation has shared the trophy with local fans.
Young Samantha Milne says she wanted to support Murray because he's from Thunder Bay.
Heather Jones was excited to see the cup come back for a the second time in as many years since she's a Penguins fan.
This year, Murray made the moment more for his fans, choosing not to do any media interviews prior to the event.(Staff photo)
