An $800,000 dollar project at the City’s transit building on Fort William Road is in the works.
Spokesperson Ron Furioso tells us some areas of the property have deteriorated and that there needs to be a better drainage system.
He indicates the make-over also includes fixing up the parking lot and a new fueling station.
Furioso explains that means there will be a service disruption for city vehicles filling up this summer.
He calls it only a “brief period” and points out there are other locations where trucks or cars can get gassed up.
The construction will begin this summer.
