Now that it appears the warmer weather is here to stay, we had to see if we’ve broken any records to this point.
Environment Canada’s David Rodgers tells us we came close yesterday, topping out at 26.1, the record for May 14 set in 2012 at 27.3.
As for any significant rainfall, he says we can expect something toward the end of this week.
Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry officials are also reminding of the weather affecting potential forest fires, and remind campers and the public to be cautious when in the outdoors.
