The flu bug is making its way through the Thunder Bay area.
Thunder Bay’s Health Unit Spokesperson Diana Gowanlock says they’ve had reported cases of influenza in our community since November.
She admits it’s too soon to say if it’s going to be a brutal flu season.
“We’ve only had just those couple of positive results,” Gowanlock explains, noting the majority of reported cases have been from an influenza outbreak in a long-term care home.
Gowanlock says it’s not too late to get your flu shot through your health care provider or pharmacy. (File Photo)
