Another case of suspected animal cruelty in the city, after two dead cats were found on Limbrick Street last Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the OSPCA says both felines died from blunt force trauma to the head, and that foul play is suspected.
Jeremy Gardiner says one black-and-white and one grey-and-white cat were found in plastic bags beside a maintenance shed near an apartment building.
One was discovered in a black garbage bag, and the other had been left inside a yellow plastic shopping bag.
He calls the deaths suspicious, "Just in regards to the injuries--both had the exact same injuries, and that they were basically dumped at the side of a maintenance shed."
Gardiner says they're asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity, like someone carrying similar plastic bags, to call Crimestoppers or 310-OSPCA.
While he says they don't think pets are being targeted, Gardiner adds keeping cats inside is a good plan.
