It’s time for the changing of the guard at the Northern Ontario Medical School.
Founding Dean Roger Strasser is stepping down next year and has this advice for his potential replacement.
He’d advise his successor to “Always keep the focus on responding to the health needs of the people and communities of Northern Ontario,”
It’s hoped Strasser’s replacement will be in place before his final day at the school on June 30th, 2019.
Once the next Dean steps into the role, Strasser says he’ll take some time off, then return as a faculty member to do ongoing research. (File Photo)
