One of two bald eagles who reside at Chippewa Wildlife Exhibit has escaped.
Park officials say this is due to a recent act of vandalism.
They add since the eagle has lived in captivity for quite some time, it may be disoriented and in distress.
Officials believe the bird may be walking around in the vicinity of the Park.
They ask that if anyone sees it not to approach it, as it can be dangerous under duress, but call the city’s 24hour dispatch line at 625-2195 so park officials can rescue it.
